Garden Chai Tea Blend 3oz
Rosemary's Garden Organic & Wildcrafted Tea Blend that will make many cups of delicious tea!
3 oz - 85 grams approximately in a rice paper bag.
This is our Classic Chai without the caffeine.
Add black tea or green tea if you want your tea to have caffeine.
Made with Organic & Wildcrafted herbs:
- Cardamom pods
- Cloves
- Ginger
- Coriander
- Fennel
- Orange peel
- Anise stars
- Black pepper corns
- Cinnamon chips
- Carob
- Nutmeg, grated
This tea will make approximately 36 cups of tea if using 1 tsp per cup of water and 12 cups of tea if using 1 TBS per cup of water.
3 tsp = 1 TBS
Basic recipe for making your own loose-leaf tea is to use anywhere from 1 tsp to 3 tsp (1 TBS) per cup of water, depending on your need and desire.
For teas with leaves and flowers, add hot water to your herbs, cover and let sit to steep (infuse) for 5-15 minutes depending on how strong you like your tea. Remove lid and strain into your drinking vessel.
For teas with barks, roots and berries, cover and simmer (decoct) the herbs in water for 5-15 minutes depending on how strong you like your tea. Remove lid and strain into your drinking vessel.
