After reading about this herb in the Science and Art of Herbalism course, I had to give it a try. It definitely has a very green taste, even in small amounts. However, when using it making oatmeal (and using fresh apple juice in place of water or milk) you can't even taste it! It changes the oatmeal an interesting color haha but now my children and I are getting the wonderful benefits from spirulina without the strong flavor.
