Common Names: Black-berried European elder, boor tree, European elder, German Elder.
Elderberries have long been used for their wonderful taste in jams and jellies.
Country of Origin: E. Europe
For teas with leaves and flowers, add hot water to your herbs, cover and let sit to steep (infuse) for 5-15 minutes depending on how strong you like your tea. Remove lid and strain into your drinking vessel.
For teas with barks, roots and berries, cover and simmer (decoct) the herbs in water for 5-15 minutes depending on how strong you like your tea. Remove lid and strain into your drinking vessel.
