Make Tea

HOW TO MAKE A CUP OF TEA

TO INFUSE (steep) flowers and leaves
  1. Put 1-2 teaspoons of herb into a cup or teapot.
  2. Pour 1 cup of hot water over the herbs.
  3. Cover and let sit for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Strain and enjoy!


  5. TO DECOCT (simmer) rooty and barky parts
    1. Put 1-2 teaspoons of herb in a pot.
    2. Add 1 cup of water.
    3. Cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
    4. Strain and enjoy!


    5. Please note that some demulcent herbs should be “cold” infused.
    6. Increase portions if you are making more than 1 cup at the time.
