- Take of each top and line up your lip gloss tubes or tubs on a cloth or paper towel.
- In a stainless steel pot, slowly heat 1 oz. base oil to 1/4 oz. part beeswax.
- When all melted, dip the tip of a teaspoon in to the oil/beeswax mixture. Take out the spoon, let it cool and test to see if the consistency is to your liking. Add more beeswax if you want it harder and more oil if you want it softer.
- Add a few drops of essential oil to the melted mixture if you want a scent or taste to the lip glosses.
- Use a potholder and carefully pour the melted mixture in the pot equally in to your lined up lip gloss tubes or tubs.
- Let cool to harden. Put on lids and VOILA! you now have you very own lip glosses.
If you want a pink tint, purchase some Alkanet root in our Western Herb section and infuse (soak) about 1 tablespoon of Alkanet Root in 4 fl.oz. of oil for 1 hour before starting the first step of the process above.
If you want the tubes or tubs to look pretty, you can add some stickers to make them look really special.
