Susan M. Parker, a native of Hawaii and founder and creator of Solum & Herbe, has over fifteen years experience as an herbalist, following studies with Pam Montgomery in New York in 1992 and David Hoffman in California in 1999. Her Fine Arts background, BFA, CCAC ‘71 and MFA, Mills '75, contributes to the graphic and artistic presentation of the company and its products.
