ROSE SPLASH is a toning combination of Organic Bulgarian Rose water, Witch Hazel hydrosol and fresh organic Rose extracts. Roses are known as the Queen of flowers and have been regarded throughout time as a preeminent beauty aid. Our ROSE SPLASH is excellent for use on skin of all types where it will tone and regulate the natural processes of the skin. Hydrosols, sometimes called distillates, and hydrolates, are the water portion of the distillation of plants for the production of essential oils. The distillate water, hydrosol, is the water that has carried the essential oil of the plant through the distillation process, the vehicle of extraction. At the end of the distillation process the essential oil floats on the surface of the distillate water and is separated to be used separately. These distillate waters are useful in the care of the skin and body. They are excellent for use in hydrating the complexion, for lifting a mood, refreshing us while traveling or on a hot day. Hydrosols slightly acidic properties help to preserve the complexion's acid mantle.
